Evening Swims

The kids love going down to the pool at night for an evening swim especially if they have it all to themselves.

Bush Walk

We drove up to Mount Tamborine and did a short bush walk.  It still amazes me.

An Emotional Reunion

This is Veronica and her best friend Kasey.  I got teary when I saw them together again.  Kasey was Veronica's lifeline when we were here last time.  She is an amazing girl and we were all so fortunate to have her and her family in our lives.

Canungra Visit

Visiting Canungra brought back so many great memories.  Veronica seemed to remember some things.  Michael not so many.  It was wonderful to catch up with some old friends again and see our old house.

A Few More Animals

Sheep shearing demonstration.

It turned out to be a great day even with a bit of rain.  Veronica said that she remembered some parts of it because we went there so often before.

Currumbin

When we woke up the day was a bit overcast and there was a slight drizzle.  We thought perfect day for the Currumbin Sanctuary.  When we drove in I asked the parking attendant what the weather was supposed to be like for the day.  Her friendly reply was, "I don't know.  Mother Nature didn't get back to me!"  I was quite surprised by the warm welcome.

They loved feeding the kangaroos.  I took quite a few pictures.  You can tell with the baby crocodile picture that the slight drizzle turned into a bit of a down pour.

Our Apartment

We really lucked out on the apartment that Deb got for us online.  It was in a great location and had everything we needed.  We especially loved the two bathrooms.
